Austrian Concert Approved!

The Brazilian Ministery of Culture approved the traveling to Austria with the UFU Guitar Ensemble. I will go with four undergraduate students of the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU): Diego Meireles, Kelly Aparecida, Lorraine Albina and Victor Santana. Join us the composer Jean Goldenbaum at the performance in Salzburg. With luck we are also going to another city. We are playing the Concerto "May All Dictators Fall", for guitar and guitar ensemble, by Jean Goldenbaum. Hear this work on videos.

I am glad to be able to travel to Europe with my students, and give them the opportunity to give their career a good start.
Follow Alvaro Henrique's channel on youtube

Throughout the year we will have constant news on youtube.com/alvaroguitar. Enjoy the avaiable material, such as lectures and performances of Alvaro Henrique, and other guitarists from Brazil and other countries.

CD "Suite Candanga"

The CD Suite Candanga will feature compositions written for the 50th anniversary of Brasília. The repertoire consists of works by Mário Ferraro, Jorge Antunes, Carlos Alberto da Silva and Louis Moreau Gottschalk.

We are fundraising. The opportunity for you to be part of this project is now! Check how on Projects.

Fantasia Triomphale on the Brazilian Anthem
The Grand Fantasia Triomphale on the Brazilian National Anthem was composed by Louis Moreau Gottschalk, USA born. This piece of music was written when the composer lived in Brazil, home of his last years. I made an arrangment of this work for solo guitar, which I am planning to record and publish soon. Check on Projects.
